XPRES served as the Swedish host when the 74th CIRP General Assembly was held in Stockholm on 17–23 August 2025. The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra playing at the CIRP 2025 inauguration at Konserthuset

CIRP is a high-profile annual event bringing together around 700 experts from academia and industry in the field of production engineering. This was the third time Stockholm hosted the event, the previous occasions being in 1957 and 1972.
